Best Value, Great for Families (of 4 or less), an Awesome alt. to Surfers!

I've stayed at a lot of places on the Gold Coast on little getaways from Byron Bay. My family of 4, with two small kids, loved the Aussie Resort (especially the amazing value!). This place is the best find so far since we love Burleigh Heads so much! The 1bedroom apts are surprisingly modern, clean, comfy, and convenient (laundry in the bathroom too, Wow!). The staff were so nice and the Australia shaped pool was so fun (imagine taking a spa in Tasmania!).
Best of all, it's about 100m to the sand and another 50m to a great little park. Walk to Burleigh town for a great bite to eat, shopping, and the sunday drum/fire dancing. We highly recommend this to small families and even couples who don't want to spend an arm and a leg on a great little getaway! (Date of experience: Nov, 2010 )
