Busselton Villas and Caravan Park

I stayed here in jan 09 while attending southbound - a music festival held in jan every year- and apart from a small altercation with the owner decided to return this year (jan 2010) for the same festival. Upon arrival, I was shocked at the way the woman who I believe is the owner treated me. She yelled and got very mad because she thought that I had only booked for 4 adults and had bought 5. She slammed my receipt for my deposit down, said I can have my money back and leave. However upon opening her bookings book from when I booked in the middle of 09, found that I had indeed booked for 5 adults. This woman is rude, abbrupt, inappropriate and very unhospitable which is a shame as this is a great location and quite nice facilities. The apartment was not spotless though it was liveably. We were on eggshells the whole weekend as we were worried about making any noise. This woman treated us like children, and as in 09 came to our villa to tell us to "turn out the lights and go to bed". She was stereotypical of people our age (22-23) and did not give us the benefit of the doubt. Not all people in their early 20's drink and destroy the place. As we were leaving she happened to be walking past and told us to wait while she inspected the place before we left. Of course the villa was as we left it. I have never been treated this poorly before. Over all this place is in a great location but it is not worth it to have to deal with this woman and have her wreck the whole weekend. Untill you see an "under new management" sign out the front... avoid this place like the plague! (Date of experience: Jan, 2010 )
