What a place to stay!

All I can say is a big thank you to John & Sue for providing us with such a spacious, clean, and comfortable cottage to spend part of our Honeymoon in. We are a senior couple and found the ease of access etc and such to the cottage and in the cottage so refreshing, no stairs to climb and a large comfortable kitchen / living area with everything so accessible. The hosts are always ready to assist and nothing seems to bother them, it seems their goal in life is to make their guests totally comfortable. The unit is also a great place for a family with a great second bedroom with bunks and there's a playground outside your door. I truly recommend this Homlea Accommodation cottage to everyone travelling through Tassie and are planning on going to St Helens

Getting ThereSt Helens is located approximately 2 hours by car from Launceston and 3 hours from Hobart. The trip from Launceston can be made via Scottsdale, with scenic views and winding roads as you approach St Helens and the East Coast. It is approximately 3 hours drive from Launceston to St Helens via Scottsdale or 2 hours via Avoca. The trip from Hobart via the Heritage Highway /Avoca is 3 Hours or via the East Coast Road which travels through Swansea, it is 3 1/2 Hours. Please be aware when travelling at Sunset or late at night that we have a lot of Wildlife on the Roads which you can sometimes run over, This cannot be helped sometimes but slowing down during the evening can help.
