Very let down

We went to this caravan park based on the rave reviews it seemed to have! Our powered van site at the back of the park was cramped to say the least, & the amenities were inadequate, dark, & often dirty. The positive reviews & lovely pictures of the park are of those large grassy sites close to the stream - yes if you stayed here you would be pleased, but to book in & have to camp in the neglected back stalls is disheartening . The staff are friendly & helpful, but only half the park deserves great reviews, don't bother if you are unable to secure a site near the water & the clean modern toilets , as you will be very disappointed. BIG4 Wye River has approximately 170 large well positioned sites. An additional five sites are available which are reluctantly booked out as over flow sites to people booking at last minute during peak and maximum occupancy periods. Xmas 10/11 has only a few sites left so to avoid disappointment book now - don't miss out. New giant jumping pillow and adventure playground just installed plus a new cafe store and restaurant all at your feet.
