Calypso Campervan Hire and Rentals

It is a well known fact, that you only get what you pay for, put with Calypso, you dont even get that. The camper wasn't cleaned properly and the sleeping bags and bedding were old (at least thats what it looked like) and filthy. Worst of all, we had bed bugs!! Calypso offered no help like changing the camper or getting rid of the little buggers. We had to use pesticides and buy our own sleeping bags. On the 3. day we had a breakdown. Again no help: "Leave the car where it is, we are cancelling the contract, youll get a refund". Great help that was. Had to stuff our things in a rental car to go on with our trip. I can only say: never again Calypso! Next time I will book with a more reliable company, even if that means to pay a bit more.
