Halls Gap Lakeside Tourist Park

Wanting to say a big Thanks for all the work the team put into keeping the camp ground and facilities clean and in order - during the day there always seemed to be someone maintaining something around the place! My girlfriend and I were very impressed with the high level of cleanliness maintained during our stay (Christmas - New Year). The trees were wonderful and shady down on Site 80 and having the 'roos, deer and birds (currawongs, cockys and rosellas) visit regularly was certainly a pleasant 'in touch with nature'. The 'fire pit for hire' and purchasable pre-cut firewood are a good idea that many people seem to enjoy. Camp ground was generally quiet and relaxing, although quite a lot of campers about. 'Play area' with basketball ring, volley ball net and balls to play with all provided as well as a swimming pool. We had a great time in the Grampians and would gladly recommend others to stay at Takaru Grampians. (Date of experience: Dec, 2009 )
