We had a 2 night stay with the so called Lansvale "resort". First night we travelled 4 hours from the country to find there was no parking available for our $190 a night room. We asked reception about room parking they said they were full, find somewhere. We parked in a dimly lit back street till after 11 pm .We then moved our car into the parking area.
Next morning we were woken by our children chasing some rather large cockroaches in our lounge room. We were out for the whole day catching up with family and doing some Xmas shopping. We arrived back at about 8 pm to our room to find once again no parking. We approached reception about parking for our room but were once again told they were full. We again parked out in the dingy back street and moved the car in about 1 am to parking inside the complex.
At about 2 am my children were woken to loud music and vulgar swearing and obnoxious singing, in the car park. We tried to ignore the commotion until finally settling the children; some idiot from reception called our room to tell us to keep quiet there had been a complaint. I explained it was not us and could they please do something. At about 3.30am I called reception back to tell them to do something about the people in the car park. Finally about 4.30am a taxi came to pick them up.
I write this review as a very disappointed mother and visitor to Sydney. So I would advise travellers to stay away from the Lansvale "resort" and to find another place to stay if you want to enjoy the experience of staying somewhere friendly, as this is definitely no resort, especially for a family experience.
