Montville Misty View Cabins Resort

I spent my honeymoon there and it was a nice couple of nights, very relaxing with log fire and reverse cycle air conditioning. Maintenance needs an upgrade with spider webs starting to overtake the window sills and behind the bed head, outdoor furniture getting a bit weather worn, marble in bathrooms getting a bit of scale from over time, knobs on the spa are broken and the rats come in from the cold at the wee hours of the morning, but as it is an outdoor setting this is to be expected. Supply of sugar and coffee was a little low and what was left had gone hard in its packets. If you are after the outback experience with a little luxury this is it. Oh and there was no champagne or port as promised but maybe you have to ask for it (?) I highly recommend the Montville Cafe Bar & Grill who were happy to pick us up and drop us off for lunch and dinner. Top quality food, great value (Date of experience: Jun, 2010 )
