Great location; kid friendly

While a bit on the expensive side for a campsite, its location and facilities justify the expense. Very close to the beach, but also has a nice pool and a large heated spa which was great at this time of year. Had two kids playgrounds which got a good workout and there were also very good camp kitchen facilities. Office staff were friendly and helpful, but it would've been good if the office was open later. Easy drive to Nelson Bay and all it has to offer. (Date of experience: May, 2010 )

Getting ThereTry the various trip planners on the racv, nrma, racq and other motoring body sites and enter Your Departure Point and Gan Gan Road One Mile nsw for a map and directions. Leaving Sydney, follow the F3 freeway to Newcastle and then the Pacific Highway to Raymond Terrace until you see the Nelson Bay Turnoff (Richardson Rd ) Follow the signs to Nelson Bay until you come to the Anna Bay Shops Sign and turn onto Gan Gan Road. Proceed through Anna Bay township and we are 3 kms on your right past the school.
