Arkana Motor Inn & Terrace Apartments

This is a great place to unwind and relax. You can stop worrying about the standards of a motel when you stay at the Arkana. We stayed in the Terrace apartments - we had everything we needed in our room - (huge federation look bathroom with a spa, our own clothes dryer & washing machine nicely tucked away) big comfy beds, cosy lounge & dining area, an all purpose kitchenette and much more - you need to see it for yourself. The price is crazy for what you get. On the Arkana Motor Inn's brochure their motto is "a home away from home". These people really do live up to that motto - it feels homely and cosy. You are not far from the town centre, just a 5 minute walk. Check out the sunken gardens behind the council building and the famous blue lake when you stay in Mt Gambier. This place is a 'Must See'. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. Will definitely stay again.
