Rothbury Escape

We have paid more for accomodation in less tranquil areas and this by far the best, the tranquil setting and hospitality shown to us was a bonus. Generous sized rooms, generous sized breakfast ingredients, especially the milk. How many times do you only get two cups of tea or coffee with milk provided in other places. The bottle of wine was lovely especially with the cheese and crackers and we are very fussy about what wine we like. The lounge/dining area was wonderful, especially the wood fire on such an unseasonably cold day. Definitely better to go on a week day if you want to avoid crowds. We will definitely be back with our family and friends.
