The Big Banana

While there are many hokey things about the Big Banana, the tour of the small plantation is worth the stop. Top notch video and multimedia presentations tell the story of banana cultivation in Australia. This is followed by a short tour of the plantation where you can see first hand how the plants are tended, what the flowers are like, etc. If you are lucky, like we were, you might get to pet a kookaburra.
