Bellingen YHA Backpackers Hostel

Is this place only a hostel? I stayed here with my friends in November and was truly impressed. The rooms and facilities are modern and new, there are mosaics, the walls are full of previous guests in 'interesting' poses, hammocks, amazing views of the valley, tyres for guests to float down the river in and two pet chickens (one odd looking fluffy thing) who sleep in a dolls house and lay eggs in various locations. The hostel runs twilight canoe tours, trips around the area and that kind of thing. The shops, pubs and cafes are all located two or three minutes walk away. I could have stayed a lot longer.
