Joondalup Resort

Spent the weekend at the Resort for my husband's birthday. I booked for two night's accommodation one was a golf package and the second a romantic package. The romantic package included chocolates and a bottle of wine. When we checked into our room the chocolates and wine were not there, when we enquired at reception we were told that the romantic package was booked for the second night and we would get our chocolates and wine after 2.00pm the next day (even though we had to pay for everything in advance). When we received our chocolate it was a boost bar and we were told it had melted we were advised to place it in the bar fridge and take the boost bar that was already in there. Paying all that money to stay there I expected at least a box of Roses chocolates. We also ate dinner in the restaurant and there were no covers on the food and flies were crawling all over the food (needless to say we did not eat much). I must say that the room was clean. The golf was good. But I would not stay again. (Date of experience: Jan, 2009 )
