The first thing is the front of the museum is deceiving. Once in the door the museum expands to over two acres of lots of things to see, the huge old fashion petrol bowsers, and tractors from yesteryear, the large model trains display with operating trains etc is excellent. Then all the war items, prisoner cell from the p.o.w camp, with all the other items, horse packs, uniforms etc. The train carriages from Sydney to Newcastle line that I used to travel in as a child. There are treasure hunts for children, great staff, great comments in visitors book. Well worth a day or two if you can spare it. Stepped back in time and loved it. (Date of experience: Dec, 2009 )
