Lovely cottage, great value

Our family of 4 had 2 nights in early July, as a long weekend getaway from the Gold Coast. A chance to experience a 'real winter' and Stanthorpe provided just that - with overnight lows of -2deg!! But we were lovely and cosy in our very cute cottage with (most importantly) a very effective wood fire. There was a separate bedroom for parents (even had an electric blanket!) and sofa bed in lounge for kids, fully self-contained, fairly new condition and very well maintained. Cottages were very private, owners very welcoming, and we even saw kangaroos on the property! Definitely recommend Cypress Ridge Cottages.

Getting ThereCypress Ridge Cottages are located in Ballandean, 20 minutes south of Stanthorpe. Turn left into Eukey Road (Highland Drive)and we are 3.5km from the turnoff on the right. Cypress Ridge Cottages on the Granite Belt sits at 1000 metres above sea level surrounded by beautiful bushland, only a breath away from local wineries, restaurants and national parks.
