Airport Con-X-ion Gold Coast

I’ve just returned from holidays and wanted to leave some feedback regarding my experience with Con-X-ion. Being a tourist means that I don’t know the Gold Coast very well, so when I found myself heading south on the motorway I didn’t think anything of it. But halfway through, I got this funny feeling that I was heading in the wrong direction so I asked the driver if we were heading to Brisbane airport. He said no so I quickly jumped on the phone to their reservations team to find out what I could do, at the same time, the driver pulled over on the side of the road and rang what I’m guessing was his manager. Within 10 minutes, they had another bus come and meet me and we were on our way to the right airport. All I was told that a typo had been made when the booking was done, but I wasn’t mad. Mistakes happen all the time, the true hero of the tale is how the company responded once they knew there was a problem, and I have to say, they were fantastic.
I’m not angry at Con-X-ion, even though some people have said I should be. Both the drivers were extremely apologetic about the situation, and I even got a personal apology from the person who made the mistake. At the end of the day, I was still an hour early for my flight and that’s really all that mattered.
So even though there was a small mistake made, I’m more than happy to recommend Con-X-ion because at the end of the day I think the way they handled the situation was really professional. Drivers were safe and respectful, well worth my $44, which just as a courtesy, they refunded to me for the inconvenience. But it wouldn’t have mattered because I’d have paid for the service anyway!
