Queechy Cottages

We approached our 2nd trip to St Helens with some apprehension after a bad experience 2 months ago elsewhere. Queechy Cottages more than made up for that. The room was two story and the view over the bay from the roomy upstairs bedroom was fantastic. We were greeted warmly on arrival and the person at reception took time to enquire about our trip to St Helens and elaborate on the facilities and tell us about the town's features. The room itself was like new, the carpet clean and soft underfoot. The large separate bathroom contained a spa and separate shower. The room was light and the heating more than sufficient. The only drawback was that no breakfast was included but that was a minor consideration overall. The on-site restaurant which is run separately provided excellent lunch and dinner but there was no arrangement to charge meals back to the room. Excellent value for money and we will stay at this property again.
