I think the East Point Military museum was fascinating, informative and especially appropriate set inside a bunker. It was a bit small in exhibit area but relates well to Darwin's WWII history as it defines Darwin and its people - tough, resilient, loyal and easy going. The Reserve itself is a wonderful tropical escape with lots of recreational opportunities and other military exhibits and "leftovers" scattered here and there. It is definately worth a couple of hours out of your day to enjoy this part of Darwin.
