We made a reservation on a Tuesday night for the next evening. The person who took the booking, couldnt stop raving about the value of the dinner/evening. The next night we took a taxi from our hotel to the venue to find a note on the door saying the evening was cancelled. We managed to run after the taxi to take us back otherwise we would have been stranded. The taxi trip cost us $20, all for nothing. The note said they tried to contact us which they didnt. Cell phone message mail boxes dont lie. We called them that same evening and the next day asking for an explanation - nothing! How discourteous and a great disservice to the tourism industry of Darwin. If this was my business and the evening had to be cancelled and I couldnt get hold of the patrons by phone, I would have waited at the door to offer an apology. These people just dont seem to care.
