Inn The Pink is an unusual pink doughnut shaped building which is located on a main dual road about 2kms out of town, fortunately though the bus stop is virtually on the doorstep so travel into Cairns and the surrounding area is as easy as finding a bus timetable. Close by are several car hire firms, pubs, restaurants, takeaways and a supermarket; ride by taxi to the airport will cost around $11.50. As you enter the interior, Inn The Pink is a bit early 1980s with peachy coloured walls, blurry print curtains with basic furniture and kitchen; the bathroom has a shower, toilet and vanity. Just a little tatty around the edges the room we stayed in was very clean and well stocked with coffee, teas, soaps and fresh towels daily. The staff are really friendly and helpful and will book any tours you may wish to make. Also available at the motel is a pool, pay laundry and BBQ area. Although not 5 star accommodation, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the casual qualities of All Round Motel, Inn The Pink.
