Discount Car and Truck Rentals

I rented a van from their Parramatta Office for 3 days, and was initially pleased with pricing and service. When I returned it, I had not noticed that there was a tyre mark on the rear wheel arch. No dent, no scratch per say, but the white paint was scuffed. I did not dispute that this happened while I had the vehicle. Considering the overall condition of the van (it was a work van after all), it should have been a wipe with a wet rag and off you go. Instead they charged me $264 "to buff out the scratch". I rang around other bodywork companies, and the consensus was that it should have cost no more than $50, and one guy said he would do it for free. I got no cooperation from their agent, and I doubt the work was ever done. Basically they rip off the occasional fool such as me.
