I've been there last week, and ordered two dishes with my hubby. We understood its expensive price but compared with food quality and quantity, it is too expensive and unreasonable price.
We had two glasses ($10.50) of beer, unagi ($25 no miso soup included) and special sushi ($38). To have them in Kuni's been worst experience in my life. If the restaurant locates in Sydney harbor, I can understand its cost. For unagi dish, it was terrible, there was just 4 small pieces of eel and cooked rice with soy sauce. A very simple recipe=$25! Crazy!!! And we expected the special sushi ($38 no miso soup included) would be very nice and full, but there were only 4 slightly-chopped sushi rolls(U know, it's very cheap), 3 nori sushi, one unagi sushi and 4 fish sushies. Actually real sushi was 8 pieces because the sushi roll is very cheap, and cost $38!! The restaurant sucks and money sucker to me. That's why no Asian at weekend's dinner golden time. Also best sasimi or sushi place in Mel? The chefs looked inexperienced and baby learned in kitchen after kitchen hand, how come Sushi is best sushi and charge incredible price???
On service, when I showed my furious feeling, one short hair-female manager and one waitress girl were giggling in Japanese together. In my life, I never met this kind of restaurant which had ruined my feelings paying such a big money ($73.50)!!!
