It is a shame the author did not make her concerns known to staff, who would have refunded her money if she was not satisfied. The room was checked after she left and found to be spotless. Most of our guests pay on arrival, as they leave early due to the long travel times ahead of them. It is common practice for most properties to either have guests pay on arrival or swipe their c/card. The apartment is about twenty metres from the secure carpark and faces a grassed area, there is little we can do about that. The unit in question is the only one that has not been recently painted, although it is in good condition and all furnishings, including a pillow top queen size bed, are no more than six months old. The BBQ area was used by a group at lunchtime and had not been tidied up. The pool is tested and cleaned each day even though the day in question was far too cold and windy for it to be used and would have had leaves in it from the surrounding trees. We operate at about 90% occupancy mostly with corporate clients who return month after month and would not do so, if we did not provide the standards they expect.
