A little bit of money could have been spent to update the facilities. Plastic rubbish bin in kitchen stained and smelly, crockery had to be washed before use, film of grease over everything. Kitchen utensils were old, smelly; a new set of cutlery would make a big difference. Pillows and doona were supplied but we're pleased we took our own linen as their pillows were badly stained, doona smelt old and musty. Not even a tea bag there for a cup of tea, no salt and pepper, coffee or sugar sachet like majority of accommodation provides. Drove all the way from Walpole to chalets (25 minutes) to realise there was no tea sachet for morning, had to drive back to town to get some. Even one sachet of each for the first night would be nice, as people arriving late could still have a cup of tea in the morning as town still some distance away. Great idea having canoes at the bottom of garden, which we loved. Overall the price was too high considering it was so far from Walpole and in need of urgent upgrading.
