An absolute nightmare.

My friends and I booked this accommodation hoping for a fun and enjoyable trip for schoolies. Little did we know that we would soon encounter a nightmare of an accommodation.
1) Location: absolutely horrible. The caravan park is located a 30minute walk away from the main town which made for long and draining trips or a nagging toll of $20 for a taxi ride into town, which added up all week.
2) Cleanliness: "Dirt" is all that comes to mind when describing the state of facilities, although that's what should be expected at a 2 star dungeon. Upon arrival we found that the cabins were still dirty from the state left by previous occupants. Obviously little care was given by staff in presentation- they already had got what they wanted; the week's pay from naive young adults.
3) Facilities: Broken fly screens, non-existent fans in the kitchen, missing lightbulbs are just the few horrors that come to mind when reflecting on what should have been the week of our lives. Not to mention the low pressure shower heads; attempts at cleanliness for the week were always futile.
4) Service and staff: Many occupants at the park found themselves constantly feeling threatened and unsafe for the entirety of the week. I witnessed an 18 year old being physically abused and threatened by the manager himself for apparently being "a smart Aleck" and then having his $1000 bond revoked whilst being evicted from the camp grounds the next day. He then threatened to revoke the bonds of other camp members unless they purchased a bottle of Jim Beam. They were powerless, and complied.

Overall, I DO NOT recommend anyone, including schoolies holidayers to consider this as their accommondation, you will regret it. It will be worth spending the extra money on a place that is not as manipulative, horrendous and vile as the so called "perfect accommodation" offered at Belongil Fields Caravan Park.
