Hunter Valley Zoo

We visited with 2 small children and a teen in tow, and found we did the rounds of the displays in about 2 hours. Mainly Birds, Monkeys, Aligators, Lizards/snakes Echidnas and some farm animals. They have animal feeding at different times through the day.

They have basic BBQs available and lots of picnic tables so you could take your lunch if you wanted. Kiosk had soft drinks chips and icre creams but no hot food or "meals" available.

Was a reasonably good half day activity. (Date of experience: Jan, 2011 )
