Thank you for your comments. Payment prior to arrival is common practice, you are quite correct in saying your arrival was at 10am, amongst guests checking out. We do not allow our guests to check in to our guest house without our thorough cleaning process being undertaken. You are right that you were asked to come back after 2pm we arrived at 2.05 yes we did talk to you on the phone - Our number is prominently displayed on our notice board on the front door. We do have house rules. There is no common TV in our Guest House, we do not advertise that there is, however there are many books, magazines and board games available. We do advertise rooms that have TV's and DVD players with Free DVD's. Thank you for informing us of the water problem we will certainly address this. My husband did enjoy the chat he had with your partner and at no time was it bought to our attention that either of you were unhappy.
Phone bookings are essential at peak times with payment in advance as we have many travellers wishing to stay with us. Our check in time is advertised as 3pm- we are always willing to help people after a long journey if we can, prior notice of early arrival is always helpful. We pride ourselves that the phone is always answered even if we are not on the premises.
We do rely on our guests to keep us informed of any problems. Which we are happy to fix.
