This is the first time reviewing a hotel for me, because I strongly felt the need. Stayed at Quest Rose Hill for 4 days, was VERY fed up by the time we left.
The bad:
1. Appalling customer service.
Examples, on their website, there's a request for them to contact you to talk about accommodation options. I waited 2 days without them EVER contacting me. Then there's the false advertising on internet in the rooms. THERE ARE NO INTERNET ACCESS IN THE ROOM. I called them up after 2 days without hearing from them, and they informed me that they indeed had free wireless internet in the rooms. Which turn out to be false, the internet requires u to subscribe and pay more money. I ended up having to use the computer at reception (possibly a 5 year old computer with a mouse that hardly works and boot up time of 15 minutes) to gain internet access. Out of the 4 days I was there, we were asked THREE times by their receptionist whether we were staying at the hotel, and DEMANDED to see our keys and room numbers. WE WERE TREATED LIKE A BUNCH OF LIERS WHO JUST ENTERS HOTEL AND USE THEIR INTERNET.
Lastly, when we left, to quote the receptionist, his last words were "it's alright"
No thank you, welcome, or whatever. All he said after we returned the keys were "it's alright". The customer service is terrible; they do not understand what it means to be polite to the customers.
2. False advertising - as discussed above.
3. Room smells like cigarettes
4. Bed lamp, and TV remote were broken.
The good
1. Good sized bedroom
2. Good carpark
3. Decent location.
4. Air con
