Criterion Tavern

Me and my mates where regulars down at the Criterion on Saturday nights, not anymore. The reason we would go there was the pub-like atmosphere and cheap drinks. I was hoping the renovations wouldn't do too much to the joint but I was wrong. The first straw was when I found out the regular singer wasn't going to be there anymore but some DJ. IT'S A BAR PEOPLE, NOT A CLUB FFS! The music he played was awesome and enjoyable, now it's just some guy playing lame doof doof. The renovations make it look like some modern arts-y joint, the way it was there was nothing wrong with it, it had a great feel and enjoyable place to have drinks. Is the Criterion actually still in business? I still go there on Saturday nights to see if they are open but no dice. The weekend should be the most profitable two days of the week and they aren't even open. Maybe it's just me but I hope the joint burns down and a pub goes in its place. Lame.
