Apartments on Lygon

This property is just outside the CBD, but still close enough to access all the highlights of Melbourne by car or tram. We drove to Melbourne, so the easy free parking suited. Trams are directly out front and run through the city all the way to Toorak. However, the two bedroom we stayed in was not luxury by any means, no soap (only dispenser in shower) nor shower caps were provided or available from reception. And very thin towels. Not like any other Quest I have stayed in. The kitchen looked newish but the rest of the furnishings were tired although clean. A worn tap washer in the shower was discovered on the first night but not seen to for the next three days, despite several requests directly to reception. Overall well located for our needs and a comfortable enough stay for the money but I'm not sure why references of 'luxury' and 'quality four star' are attached to this property, it certainly did not apply to our apartment.
