Tea Gardens Hotel-Motel

Called in to this quiet spot on a whim whilst travelling north. Staff told us that if we stayed 2 nights we'd get a 3rd night free. After a quick look around we needed no further persuasion. The Hotel itself is older but spotlessly clean, with great character, relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. Top view over the Myall River from the lounge, bar and dining room. Bistro was fresh and affordable, drinks were very cheap, and people were very laid back and friendly. Our room was basic but comfortable and again spotlessly clean, with its own bathroom - rare for a hotel! Large in-ground pool with nobody using it! The trivia night was especially fun - the locals welcomed us with friendly rivalry. This is not your usual pub - I would be happy to bring my young family here, no worries at all.
