I booked in for a single room which was amazingly economical and ended up with a double which was fine. The door locking system however was very loose which worried me, but the worst part of the experience was the smell-throughout the whole 2nd floor. I can't identify it but it permeated everything and I had to bury myself into the doona, put handcreme on, to try and escape inhaling it. What is it-I did ask a member of staff but she had no idea what I was talking about. Also there is an intolerable disturbance. The shared bathroom has a door which bangs intermittently all night and SO loud. It wakes you all the time and negates all the pleasure of the lovely fresh linen which initially promised a sound sleep. I wouldn't stay again or get a more expensive room either.
