Cottontree Beachouse Backpackers

Our booking for 4 was mxed up and due to the lateness we took a room with 2 sets of bunks and it cost us as much as a motel room and they staff were grumpy about that! Even though they try to keep it clean the facilities were tired and dated. The floors were yukky and dirty and covered with pet hair (they let their dogs roam around inside) and we felt compelled to wear shoes inside always. We could not bring ourselves to use the shower, just too dreadful. This place has plenty of character and is in a wonderful spot but needs an update desperately. (Date of experience: Jul, 2011 )
