The Cross Inn

We found out about the cross inn after viewing a website about berwick bed and breakfasts, we booked accommodation off this site and when asked the owners about the cross inn she had nothing but compliments for the place- we were leaving berwick on a sunday to travel to edinburgh and popped into the cross which is about 3 miles away from berwick on the scottish border in a town called paxton.. well the food was amazing i started with a duck and black pudding salad while hubby had the home made fish cakes we ended up sharing as both were delightfull then we both opted for the beef with yorkshire pudding and all the trimmings it was definatly a meal to remember the staff were very friendly and the restaurant although small has a wonderful atmosphere.
