Paddle Steamer Waverley

I took my 9 yr old daughter on trip from Helensburgh to Dunoon on 5th July 08. Can't tell you how appalled I was at the behaviour of passengers. Drunks everywhere. We couldn't sit inside, people smoking were everywhere outside. Had to sit on wet suits, one woman throwing up on the deck absolutely steaming drunk, one man fell over gashing his head and walked round us bleeding and drunk. Disgusting and dangerous. Shopkeepers in Dunoon told us they r sick of the drunks coming off the boat on Saturdays. It felt like a patrick pub not a traditional paddle steamers trip. We were soaked, disgusted and will never go back. NOT A FAMILY TRIP!! Tourists were sitting in rain together too scared to venture inside, one German girl was being so harassed by drunks we sat with her. Someone will be seriously hurt on this trip. 2 men started fighting in front of us, whilst on a boat! Where r u meant to go, an insult to tourist industry in Scotland and embarassing to be a Scot on that trip.
