Thanks for the links. I am finally getting adjusted back to California time, and wanted to share with you our gratitude for showing us such a wonderful time on our trip.
The people I have talked to that have also been to England were so amazed at all of the things we saw, and I mentioned how delightful it was to veer off the main roads into the little villages that were right out of Charles Dickens. Of course, I appreciated the castles and you already know the parts Mike loved.
Having you show us around made all the difference and I have told everyone I know that they need to splurge when they travel to England and hire you.
*By the way, did the bell man at Claridge's call you about the package we ended up with (I believe was your Mercedes brochures)? I left them with him along with your number so if he has not called and you are looking for those I hope he will have saved them for you.
After almost perfect weather in England, we were greeted with a nasty heat wave of 111 F degrees that went away and now it has returned but with a mere 104 F.
(so I am ready to return to the lovely rolling green hills in the English countryside)
Mike is normally not impressed with Europe and has never said he wants to return to any other country but he would love to come back to England. He really loved it.
Again, your service was invaluable and more than that, I feel we have made a good friend. We look forward to meeting up again some day, and until then, we'll keep in touch via the new technology.
