Upon arrival we were greeted warmly with tea, coffee and homemade cake, before being escorted to our room. The house itself; the room, and location in Tintagel was superb.
There were many eating places, shops and attractions just round the corner. The scenery was outstanding.
Keith and Julie (the owners) were attentive without being intrusive. The breakfast was outstanding, with such a variety of menu options, and Julie herself makes her own breads, which was to die for.
The room itself was cosy, with several nice touches, including robes, and even wine glasses and corkscrew. Each room also had a fridge, quite an unusual extra to the standard B&B.
I would not hesitate to go back whenever I wanted a bit of spoiling, and their philosophy of using locally sourced produce is being eco-friendly is commendable. (Date of experience: Oct, 2009 )
