We visited Bistro 21 in April. It was overall a very disappointing experience.
On the positive side: service was good and they make an excellent gin and tonic.
For the price you pay the food was poor. I had confit of duck which was overcooked and bland. My partner's steak ordered blue but served medium and the meat quality was below average.
Starters of oysters and spring rolls were ok but not special.
2 courses each and a bottle of average wine came to over 50 per head. Fine if you are a decent restaurant in London or an outstanding restuarant elsewhere in the UK but completely unacceptable for the below average fare we were served.
