My advice to anyone visiting this lovely art gallery is to eat before you go! I had lunch there yesterday, having read glowing reports online about this cafe, and what a disappointment! There is absolutely no excuse for serving up stale ingredients, and of those in my chicken Caesar salad, only the grated Parmesan was fresh. The Cos lettuce had brown stalks and must have been at least a day old, the chicken was flavourless and the croutons out of a packet. The price of the salad and one glass of a very average wine was 11.95! I am sorry to be so negative, but I feel ripped off. I complained to the staff and was offered an alternative, but owing to timed tickets to the exhibition, was unable to take advantage of this, even had I wished to do so.
