Warm and comfortable accommodation - actually very pretty place. Healthy organic continental breakfast. Daily room cleaning and stocked with tea, coffee & yummy biscuits. Owners were helpful and kind. Glad I brought my laptop as it has wireless internet access. Close to Coed Y Benin (4 mins drive) & the Trawsfynydd lakes (5 mins). I am not a big fan of dogs but I must say that I loved the well behaved sheep dog Dell. Difficult to criticise this place as we really enjoyed our stay, but if I had to, I would say the nearest eating places are 5 to 10 mins drive away. However the Bryn Arms is a good choice and has good honest food at a good price.

Getting ThereApproaching from the Manchester/Liverpool/Chester area:Take the A494 to Bala then turn right onto the A4212 to Trawsfynydd. Turn left onto the A470 heading South to Dolgellau. We are three miles on the right shortly after the small village of Bronaber - after a telephone box and a chapel (seen on your left), watch out for a small white arrow-shaped sign 'Cae Gwyn Farm B&B'on your right, then you will soon see a brown sign 'Cae Gwyn Farm B&B' on the right on our entrance.Approaching from the Birmingham/Shrewsbury area:Turn left onto the A458 to Welshpool and Dolgellau where you will join up with the A470. Continue on this road bypassing Dolgellau town and carry on for a further ten miles. Cae Gwyn is on the left hand side, as you come out of Coed-y-Brenin Forest. Wa
