I did a guided 3-day walk on the iconic 6-foot track with this company. The walk itself was fantastic and I highly recommend it, but find another company to do it. The organisation was poor from the start. There was no confirmation of bookings unless you chased it, and when we arrived everyone had to fill in waiver forms before we could leave, though we had all already done this to book the trip. We were not given any clear idea about what we needed to take - eg water for the whole day, and what would be provided at various points given it was supposed to be "fully supported". We had 1 guide and 1 support person for 12 walkers. They were great, very knowledgeable and helpful, but eventually admitted that they usually have another person for a group that size so were understaffed. This meant that the trip was not "fully supported" by any means. Even though the support staff drove the vehicle with tents and bedding along the same track we walked, it wasn't organised for him to take lunch - we carried those supplies - or meet us to boil a billy or anything. On the 2nd night we arrived at the campsite before the support vehicle, and stood around in the rain until it arrived with the tents, which we put up ourselves. The satellite phone did not work, so the staff had to rely on their own mobile phones and when one of the group was injured he had to wait hours to be picked up by the owner of the company who was doing another tour. Apparently no other arrangement could be made. When one of the staff's personal phone died, they had no means of communication between them. This meant when the support vehicle did not arrive at the end of the day we had no way of finding out what had happened to it. The tents provided were a bit old and mouldy but ok. The food was very ordinary. No doubt this was partly due to lack of time for the staff, but given we paid $750 for 2 nights of camping, I would expect a bit better than supermarket cake/rolls/kebabs (only 2 each please). If you must use this mob, check very carefully about what is provided and whether there are reasonable safety arrangements in place.
