Getaway Cottage

This place is ideal for a holiday in Mudgee. I visited with a group of girlfriends last year. We were there primarily for a weekend of wine tasting but this cottage was so lovely we wished we could have stayed for a week!

There are actually a group of different cottages in the one location. The one we stayed in was fairly old however was extremely clean and had everything you could want. The weekend we were there was about 45 degrees and fortunately the air conditioning in the cottage worked perfectly!

The cottages also have a huge outdoor area overlooking the river with animals roaming around and gardens full of herbs, fruit and vegetables, all for the guests to use.

The owners were very hospitable, leaving out a lovely breakfast basket for us and plenty of information about good restaurants around town and activities we could try.

I would definitely go back here, it's great for friends or family groups. (Date of experience: Nov, 2009 )
