Kookaburra Inn

If you are looking for budget accommodation in inner city Brisbane without the noisy party atmosphere of a backpacker’s hostel, then Kookaburra Inn is for you.
With just 18 rooms, this small inn is situated in a residential area, in a quiet street with ample parking (ask the friendly owner to provide you with a parking permit). It is just a few minute’s walk to Fortitude Valley with it’s clubs, bars and restaurants, and is equally close to the Brisbane City centre.
All the rooms are private, so you don’t have to worry about sharing a dorm with noisy, smelly backpackers. Beds are clean and comfortable, with linen and towels provided.
Perfect for a one night stay or longer - I have stayed at the Kookaburra Inn twice and will stay again next time I am in Brisbane! (Date of experience: Jun, 2009 )
