JJ Chalets

I am one of Jill's regular customers, having been recommended to her by a friend. We first stayed in one of her chalets in 2004 and we have holidayed with her every year since. I have an extended family in different parts of the country, so every Whitsun we meet up and have three chalets. I can quite categorically state that we have never found any of Jill's chalets dirty at all. She does all she can to make sure everything is ok for us and nothing is too much trouble for her. She is on site every week to see to all her holidaymakers personally and I know that she lives roughly 120 miles away from the site. I certainly wouldn't want to do a 240 mile round trip every week! When she read the review that had been posted, she was so mortified and upset that she rang me to check up whether we had been all right, because that particular chalet was one of the three that we had stayed in, the following week, 23rd - 30th May. I assured her that we had been fine and that there were certainly no fleas in there. Holiday chalets are just that, holiday chalets ! they are not the Ritz, they stay the course pretty well, considering the amount of use they get, week after week, year after year. She told me that she had seen the people in and told them the same as she tells everyone, "any problems, ring me" . All I can say is, if the chalet was not up to scratch, (in the previous peoples opinion), then they had plenty of time to tell Jill and she would have rectified it, instead of being pleasant to her face and then writing such a scalding review.
