Mercure Hotel Hobart

I stayed at Mercure Hotel Hobart for a girls weekend away recently. I could not fault it in terms of what I expected for the amount I spent. Rooms were clean, had heaters (which was necessary), bathroom was fine. In terms of location, you could walk to a most Hobart attractions, including Salamanca (probably 15mins), however it was so cold, we decided to drive anyway. Has a carpark, and reasonable rates for valet service each day.

Service was great, especially the barmen who had to put up with a couple of 'tipsy' girls on a weekend away keeping him from closing up. :)

Overall as I said, I was completely satisfied when I measure up what I paid and what I expected. Would recommend to friends and family for sure. (Date of experience: Aug, 2010 )
