Stunning location only 2 hours from Sydney

As we drove through Nelson Bay we were a little uncertain as to what to expect. However the corner that turns into Shoal Bay is breath taking and suddenly you realise that you have stumbled across a truly magical place with stunning bay views, and unique volcanic headlands on each side of the inlet. The resort itself is surprisingly larger than expected with spacious apartments and great restaurants ranging from a superb seafood restaurant overlooking the beach and bay through to trendy cafe style, main buffet restaurant, bar and grill and the Country Club Hotel. And don't forget the spa.... that was another real surprise. I could go on .. But instead I will visit again next month and type more then!
