The Hildebrand Hotel

We chose this b & b for a last minute 4 night break. I am the sort of person who spends hours and hours searching online for the perfect b & b, so I was nervous about a last minute booking at this b & b that I hadn't really researched all that well. However, on arrival my fears were abolished. Liz is amazingly friendly and hilarious. The whole hotel was spotless for the entire visit. The rooms were modern and the beds very comfortable. The bathroom was lovely and newly fitted by the look of it. The carpets were soft and fresh. Bed linen was super soft and comfortable. The room was really, really spacious with loads of storage space! Breakfast delicious with proper butchers bacon when we visited, yum! We dont have kids but Liz was brilliant with the other guests children, making sure they had everything they needed and taking extra special breakfast orders. Ideal position right by the main South Beach, at a stretch our room had a sea view. Main, Rectory car park a stones throw away where you can buy a week long ticket for 15.00 (when we visited) which worked out cheaper than a day ticket. This is the nicest b & b Ive ever had the pleasure of staying in, a real find at an affordable rate. We will be back, I couldnt fault a single thing. (Date of experience: May, 2010 )
