Comfort Inn & Suites City Views Ballarat

This motel is a cut above the average in decor and facilities and boasts an indoor swimming pool which we had to ourselves. The motel even provides big, fluffy beach towels! The city view from our window was almost non-existent being hidden by bushes planted immediately ion front of our balcony. However, the facilities of pool, tv and wireless internet (available at an extra cost of $5) made this of little consequence. Motel is located close to McDonalds, Pizza Hut, two Indian and Japanese restaurants. This helped as breakfast is not included. However, the lady in McCafe took so long to make our cappuccino that our food went cold! Only a couple of niggles: (1) The little notices exhorting guests to put a bucket in the shower and various warnings about smoking or not returning beach towels. These could have gone into the compendium and then been less annoying. (2) The "water saver" showerhead which so restricts the flow of water that showers take three times as long defeating the object!!!
