Apex Riverside Tourist Park

Stayed here a few nights ago - hosts were brilliant. Recognising that I was very nervous on my first towing expedition he reversed me in and unhooked us so we could go to town. While we were at dinner he greased all my towing connections and bits and pieces. When we got back he helped me get it back on and gave me a few lessons on towing (which helped enormously the next day). We woke the next morning to the sound of a rushing river and birdcalls - from the verandah of the cabin we sat and watched the water flow by. The cabin was spacious, and even more appreciated, it was spotless. Compared to the cabins the night before and the night after, it was excellent value for money. For choosing to stay with them we got a 2 cent per litre discount voucher for fuel (after all their help we couldn't bring ourselves to use it!) It would be a lovely spot to stay for a week or so - serene and homely.
